Royal Enfield Classic 350, Bullet 350, Meteor 350 Recalled
Royal Enfield has recalled some of its models in the country. The Royal Enfield has detected major defects in one of the components used on some of its motorcycles. The company said in a statement that some motorcycles are likely to be misfiring from the ignition coil which will affect the performance of the motorcycle. Not only this, the company says that in some cases, this disturbance can also cause an electrical short circuit.
Due to this problem, Royal Enfield has decided to recall 2,36,966 units of the Bullet 350, Classic 350 and the recently launched Meteor 350. Scrambler 1200 Stevine McQueen
This has affected the motorcycles made between December 2020 and April 2021. Royal Enfield has said that this recall will also affect the models like Meteor 350, Classic 350 and Bullet 350 sold across India, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia.
The company has said that the recalled bikes will be examined and the bad parts will be replaced if needed. On the other hand, customers can also contact the dealership and based on the vehicle identification number (VIN) can find out if their bike has been affected by this recall.
