Mercedes-Benz India has launched 2021 GLA SUV in India. The GLA 200, is priced at Rs 42.10 lakh, Along with this, the company has also launched its performance version of GLA. Mercedes started booking of GLA SUVs last month. The design of the Mercedes GLA is very similar to the GLC and GLE.
Mercedes GLA model lineup comes in three variants - 200 Progressive Line, 220d Progressive Line and 220d 4Matic AMG. The 200 Progressive Line is priced at Rs 42.10 lakh, the 220d Progressive Line is priced at Rs 43.70 lakh and the 220d 4Matic AMG is priced at Rs 46.70 lakh. Now the company has launched the AMG GLA 35 4Matic SUV at an ex-showroom price of Rs 57.28. The company has said that it is the introductory prices of these newly launched cars, which will increase by 1.5 lakh rupees from 1 July 2021. The new 2021 Mercedes GLA SUV gets a 1.3-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol and a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine. Whereas the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine has been given in GLA 35 AMG variants.
The new Mercedes GLA gets a new digital driver display and a new infotainment touchscreen. The size of both screens is 10.25 inches. It is similar to the screen in the A-Class limousine. The new MBUX system from Mercedes has been provided in the digital infotainment screen that can be connected with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apart from the technical upgrade of the SUV, the interior of the cabin gets an updated color scheme. Along with this, new leather upholstery has been given for the seat. All black cabins and sports seats have been given in the AMG line variants.
2021 Mercedes GLA SUV has radar based active braking assist, 7 airbags, active bonnet for pedestrian safety, hill start assist, 64 colors ambient lighting, dual-zone temperature control, multi function steering wheel, wireless charging pad, panoramic sunroof, USB- Features like C port and electric assist tailgate are included.
