HONDA CB150R STREETFIRE

Honda took the raps from the 2021 CB150R Streetfire motorcycle and also launched it in Indonesia. The motorcycle receives significant updates for the new model year in terms of equipment and design.


The Honda CB150R has always been a popular model in the South-East Asian market. And for 2021, Honda has given the motorcycle significant updates in terms of design and equipment. The new model will be sold in Indonesian and Malaysian markets in two variants - Standard and Special Edition. Other new features include full LED lighting, a slim handlebar and a new digital instrument console. The console now displays information such as gear position indicator, fuel status and regular bits like speed. While most of the chakra parts remain the same, the front end is now a 37 mm inverted fork from the showae. The front and rear wheels get one petal disc each. The rear suspension has a monoshock from the older model.


The 2021 Honda CB150R is powered by a149 cc DOHC single-cylinder engine that is liquid-cooled and makes 16 bhp at 9,000 rpm with 13.7 Nm peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.


The motorcycle weighs about 135 kg or so. CB150R Streetfire Prices IDR Starts at Rs. 29,700,00, which is equivalent to R 1.51 lakh. While sporty naked meets in the 150cc segment like the Yamaha MT-15 in India, motorcycles like the Streetfire can do well, provided the pricing is revised for the Indian markets. However, we are unlikely to see the bike being launched in India.
