IVth-Gen Skoda Fabia Unveiled:
The new Skoda Fabia has been introduced globally. The new
Skoda Fabia is built on Volkswagen's MQB-A0 platform, will be offered in a
total of 6 body styles, along with three variants and five engine options. The
new Skoda Fabia has been kept larger than before, with many updates given.
Skoda said that this Fabia comes with the best safety and
modern technology. Apart from the regular models of the new Skoda Fabia, Combi,
Monte Carlo, Combi Monte Carlo, Black Edition Combi Scoutline, Clover and Combi
Clever will be brought in the bodystyle.
The new Skoda Fabia will be introduced in three variants
Active, Ambition and Style. This fourth generation Skoda Fabia has been
enlarged and built on the current design language. Now this model looks more
dynamic and attractive than ever with the Sculpture line and Sharp headlight
and taillight.
Talking about the size of the new Skoda Fabia, its length
has been increased by 11 cm and claims to provide the largest boot space in its
segment with 380 liters of boot space. The wheelbase is 94mm larger than its
earlier model and it now provides more rear space for passengers.
Talk about the interior of the new Skoda Fabia, it has been
given a copper color and gray stitching. It has a new LED ambient lighting that
provides red and white color light to the driver in the dashboard, with LED
reading light in the front and back.
This model has a new redesigned steering wheel that provides
the finishing touch. It is wrapped in leather and comes with a three spoke
style which comes with shift paddles for DSG. It has a heated steering wheel
and heated windscreen.
These features help to provide a clear view of the car on
cold days, these features are usually offered in large and premium vehicles.
The Skoda Fabia features an optional digital instrument cluster for the first
time that comes with a 10.25-inch digital display.
The new Skoda Fabia will be made available with a total of 5
engine options. It includes 1.0 liter MPI Evo with two power tunes, 1.0 liter
TSI Evo with two power tunes and 1.5 liter TSI engine.
